Description: Neutron & The Black Mask is a 1960 Mexican melodrama starring the legendary 'mystery wrestler' Neutron. The story is about a mad scientist, Dr. Caronte, who develops a neutron bomb, in hopes of taking over the world-or, at least, Guadalajara. With the help of his wrestler pals, Neutron vanquishes Caronte. Less than a year later, a sequel to the film, with Caronte up to his old tricks arrived. This combination of sci-fi and wrestling would end up becoming very prolific in the country's cinema. Thanks to the popularity achieved on the big screen by famous wrestlers, producers made films with them as their hook, however, Neutron was created exclusively for film, with four movies in the Neutron series throughout the 1960s.
