Description: Welcome to The Salty Redhead, Redhead’s favourite beachside cafe, chippery and takeaway. There is just one minor problem: it doesn’t actually exist. No opening hours, no TripAdvisor reviews, no bloke standing outside at 7:03 pm asking whether the fryer is still on. Just a suspiciously convincing coastal logo for a business that absolutely should be serving fish, chips, burgers and coffee somewhere near the beach. Wear it proudly and enjoy the possibility that somebody will eventually ask, “Where is that place?” Fun fact: in NSW, the battered slice of potato commonly known elsewhere as a potato cake is generally called a potato scallop, because apparently even fried potato requires interstate rivalry.
Description: Finally, a café where the lamps have better legs than the customers. Lambton Leg Lamp Cafe serves imaginary coffee in the spiritual home of fringed lampshades, fishnet stockings and furniture your aunt refuses to throw out. The business isn’t real, but your attraction to questionable décor is becoming difficult to ignore. Cool fact: The iconic leg lamp in A Christmas Story is proudly described as a “major award”, an impressive achievement for something wearing only one stocking.
Description: Welcome to the Cardiff Heights Custard Club, where the dress code is classy, the custard is creamy, and the mascot appears to take dessert far more seriously than anyone reasonably should. This gloriously nonexistent Cardiff Heights establishment celebrates the finer things in life: a good bow tie, a generous bowl of custard, and absolutely no questions about whether you’re having seconds. Perfect for anyone who believes dessert deserves its own exclusive club. Cool fact: Custard in various forms has been enjoyed for centuries, with recipes for egg-thickened custards appearing in European cookbooks as far back as the Middle Ages.
Description: Cardiff Candy Co. is the fictional local lolly shop where every business decision is sugar-coated and nobody has ever successfully bought “just one thing.” A colourful retro design for Cardiff locals, confectionery connoisseurs and anyone whose sweet tooth has its own postcode. Cool fact: In Australia, “lolly” is a catch-all term for sweets and confectionery, not merely something served on a stick.
Description: King Penguins (Aptenodytes patagonia) and Royal Penguins (Eudyptes schlegeli) sunning themselves on the pebble beach. Juvenile male Southern Elephant Seals (Mirounga leonina) are also on the beach. Macquarie Island, Southern Ocean, Sub-Antarctic, Australia. Macquarie Island (or Macca) lies in the southwest corner of the Pacific Ocean, about half-way between New Zealand and Antarctica, at 54°30S, 158°57E. Politically, it is part of Tasmania, Australia since 1900 and became a Tasmanian State Reserve in 1978. The island is home to the entire Royal Penguin population on earth during their annual nesting season. Ecologically, it is part of the Antipodes Subantarctic Islands tundra ecoregion. Description: Welcome to Teralba Taxidermy Tea House, where the tea is hot, the cake is fresh and the regulars haven’t moved since 1897. This delightfully nonexistent establishment is staffed by impeccably dressed animals who sip from fine china, read yesterday’s newspaper and silently judge anyone ordering the vanilla slice. Cool fact: The word “taxidermy” comes from the Greek words taxis, meaning “arrangement,” and derma, meaning “skin”. Which sounds considerably less charming over afternoon tea.
Description: At Redhead Record Room Cafe, every coffee comes with a soundtrack, and nobody touches the turntable until the barista finishes Side A. This gloriously fictional vinyl café serves warm brews, classic grooves and the occasional argument over who gets control of the next record. Cool fact: A vinyl record plays from one continuous spiral groove that winds from the outside edge toward the centre.
Description: Welcome to the Teralba Typewriter Cafe, the completely fictional coffee shop where every table has a typewriter and every customer is three strong coffees away from beginning a novel they’ll never finish. Order a pastry, feed in a sheet of paper and hammer out a love letter, an anonymous confession or a sternly worded complaint about the disappearance of carbon paper. Fun fact: the familiar QWERTY keyboard layout first appeared on typewriters during the 1870s and is still tapping away on modern computers and phones today.
Description: Valentine is one of those Lake Mac suburbs that feels like living on the good side of the postcard. Quiet streets, big trees, and that constant lake breeze that makes even a normal day feel a bit lighter. It’s the kind of place where walks by the water are part of the routine, sunsets are taken seriously, and locals wear their pride in a calm, low-key way. If Valentine is your home base, your old postcode, or the suburb you still name-drop with a smile, this design is a clean little badge of lake-life pride.
Description: When your morning is going under for the third time, Warners Baywatch Cafe is ready to dive in—armed with strong coffee, a rescue board and a muscular seagull who is definitely only guarding those chips for “safety reasons.” This café doesn’t actually exist, but that shouldn’t stop you from making a slow-motion entrance whenever someone puts the kettle on. Cool fact: Australia’s red-and-yellow beach flags mark the area where lifesavers recommend swimming . Which is handy knowledge if your coffee hasn’t kicked in and you’ve accidentally wandered into the ocean.
Description: Macquarie Island looking towards the narrow isthmus where the Australian Base is situated. Southern Ocean, Australia. Macquarie Island only has five sunny days per year. The three plants which grow here are in this picture, a mega herb, Macquarie Island Cabbage and Tussock Grass. On 3 December, 1997 Macquarie Island was listed as a World Heritage Area, the second Tasmanian World Heritage Area. Macquarie Island is a site of outstanding geological and natural significance on a world scale. The island is one of only a very few in the Pacific sector of the Southern Ocean where fauna in the region can breed. Around 3.5 million seabirds and 80,000 elephant seals arrive on Macquarie Island each year to breed and moult. Fur seals are beginning...

Description: Redhead has that classic NSW coastal magic that locals never get tired of: beach mornings, salty air, good surf, and a laid-back rhythm that makes every day feel a little better. It is the kind of place where thongs at the servo counts as dressed up, and nobody minds if your plans revolve around the weather and the swell. This Redhead design is for locals, ex-locals, beach regulars, and anyone who wants to wear a little piece of that easy coastal life wherever they go.
