We decided this card was a perfect choice to showcase one of my favorite, yet often overlooked, spooky characters -- the siren. Description: A mermaid Lady of the Lake I made for #DrawMerMay2023!! This is one of my very favorites so far. In Arthurian legend, she is the fae lady who fostered Landelo du Lac and gave the enchanted sword Excalibur to the once and future King Arthur.
