Description: I started this mini series back in 2016 and honestly didn't know what the end result would be. At the time, I was just cranking them because they were fun to do, and I was able to complete one within a few hours. The majority of the Skulls and Buddhas series are either 4x6 or 5x7 inches. It always seemed to me that the symbolism of skulls and the Buddha (sitting in a meditative position) is similar. In the practice of sitting meditation, we are dealing with the inescapable reality of impermanence, and the skull usually represents mortality. The simple fact that we will have to face our own last breath.
