Description: Monkey Shines (also known as Monkey Shines: An Experiment in Fear) is an American science fiction psychological horror film released on July 29, 1988. The story follows an athlete named Allan who becomes quadriplegic after a horrific traffic accident. His friend Geoffrey, who is conducting experiments with monkeys, offers Allan a well-trained monkey named Ella to keep him company and raise his spirits.
