Description: Original illustration, hand drawn by me Richard Stelmach as part of my Daily Orange series. The Orangutan is a beautiful creature which spends most of its time in the trees by itself. It is highly intelligent, which is probably why it knows spending most of its time in the trees by itself is a good idea and unlikely it would find other animals intellectually stimulating enough to make it worthwhile conversing with. It could be imagined that the orangutan spends many hours philosophising atop of the canopy. Orangutans are also good at swearing at people, riding in a truck and slapping faces as shown in Every Which Way but Loose, alongside Clint Eastwood or evolving into humanoid intellectuals as shown in The Planet of the Apes.
