Escher, particularly his iconic vision of endless staircases where gravity loses meaning and direction becomes an illusion. In this design, the staircases are not merely structural elements—they are the core mechanic of a deadly game. Players navigate multiple planes of gravity simultaneously, encountering others who may appear above, below, or even sideways, depending on their relative orientation.
