Description: I started this mini-series back in 2016 and, honestly, didn't know what the end result would be. At the time, I was just cranking them because they were fun, and I completed one within a few hours. The majority of the Skulls and Buddhas series are either 4x6 or 5x7 inches. It always seemed to me that the symbolism of skulls and the Buddha (in a meditative pose) is similar. In the practice of sitting meditation, we confront the inescapable reality of impermanence, and the skull often symbolizes mortality. The simple fact that we will have to face our own last breath.
Description: Pattern design with 15 colorful abstract flower shapes in 3 columns and 5 rows on transparent checkered background. Each flower is in different bright color red, pink, yellow, black, purple, blue, gray. Three vertical wavy lines in green, yellow and orange connecting the flowers. Minimal playful art.
