Pirates Socks
Description: Pirate black flag with Adam's head (human skull) and bones. This flag, along with dozens of others, was used by pirates in the 17th and 18th centuries. There was no single pirate flag . However, in the culture of the XIX-XXI centuries. it was the skull and crossbones flag that was most often associated with piracy
Description: I don’t get the fascination with pirates. They were filthy, alcohol soaked, scurvy mouthed, bug ridden boat roaches. They didn’t have respect for a man’s property, respect for ladies, or even respect for basic hygiene. Yet, for some reason we idolize them, give them a theme park ride, and 5 movies. (one of which was good.) Give me a Jungle Skipper any day of the week… (As you may have noticed, much of our work revolves around Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise Skipper culture. We host a podcast devoted to the subject, and these items are independent homages to the Golden Era of Adventure that the stories from the ride take place in.)
Pirates are ok, I guess, but I'd rather be a Skipper Socks
