Printmaking Socks
Description: Since I am no longer a student, my access to the studio and equipment is very limited. I went into my front yard and spread ink onto this leave and transferred it onto a piece of paper. I love fall weather and I love printmaking so this was my quick and easy way of showing homage.

Description: This design really illustrates one of my passions, and that is horror movies. I love them! I am especially fond of the old movie monsters like Dracula, the Wolf Man, and in this case, Gillman, better known as the Creature from the Black Lagoon. What is also very special about this design is it showcases part of a woodcut block print that I created of Gillman. When it comes to the world of art and design, I believe that sometimes it is best to step away from the computer to get some of the the best inspiration. It also makes for a well-rounded and creative experience. Once I completed the woodcut, I scanned it and experimented with it in Photoshop and Illustrator.
