Description: Viewed from Pauncefoot hill, Romsey (Hampshire, UK) looks a particularly leafy town with the abbey standing proud of the other buildings. This depiction was done in water colour pencils and then wetted with a very slightly damp brush in order to retain some of the texture of the pencil work whilst bringing out the rich depth of watercolour pigment. Drawn on watercolour paper at A4 size.
