Description: Vintage poster promoting the Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in St. Louis during 1904. The expo celebrated the centennial of the 1803 Louisiana Purchase and was in effect a World's Fair with exhibitions staged by 63 nations. The Exposition was scheduled to be held in 1903 ( as the print states ) but a delay allowed far more exhibitors from the US and around the world to participate.
