Sci Fi Tv Socks
Description: "For a long time, I was afraid to be who I am, because I was taught by my parents that there’s something wrong with someone like me. Something offensive, something you would avoid, maybe even pity. Something that you could never love.....I was afraid of this parade because I wanted so badly to be a part of it. So today, I’m marching for that part of me that was once too afraid to march. And for all the people who can’t march, the people living lives like I did… Today I march to remember that I’m not just a me, but I’m also a we. And we march with Pride. So go fuck yourself Aquinas."

Description: This is one of those pieces in which the artwork itself is a spoiler. Sorry about that, but I had to make this creepy pig-faced nurse for the cool kids who already know. The symbolic color here is green for envy, also associated with greed. "Eye of the Beholder" is a classic example of how people (or even non-people, apparently) in communities always try to fit in, try to be like each other, and feel the need to fall in line mindlessly, sometimes going to extremes to do so. Rod Serling holds up a big mirror to our society to reveal our very own sheep-like nature in another brilliant Twilight Zone episode that is utterly timeless.
Description: The USS Orville (ECV-197) is a mid-level exploratory vessel in Planetary Union service in the early 25th century, capable of speeds up to 10 light years per hour. Currently, the ship is commanded by Captain Ed Mercer and First Officer Kelly Grayson. There are 300 crewmembers on board. As an exploratory class ship, the Orville is designed for exploration and cartography of uncharted space. The Orville is equipped with essential military and defensive armaments, though it is not intended for combat.
