Shock Socks
Description: Shocker is one those films you watched as a child on Vcd and always remembered it as a cool and interesting slasher movie. Felt like this movie was underrated as a 80s slasher and wanted to watch it again. Seeing it again, it was an odd movie with an awkard chase scene beetwen tv channels, a soundtrack which is way out of place and very mediocore acting. It is a cute and fun experiment and a nice memory from my childhood.
Description: Famous Monsters of Filmland was originally conceived as a one-shot publication in the wake of the widespread success of the Shock Theater package of old horror movies syndicated to American television in 1957. The first issue, published in February 1958, was so successful that it required a second printing to fulfill public demand, and its future as part of American culture was immediately obvious. The success prompted spinoff magazines such as Spacemen, Favorite Westerns of Filmland, Screen Thrills Illustrated, Creepy, Eerie, and several others.
Description: A furious retro cartoon teacup in a suit pounds a wooden podium between two Irish flags, with a "Vote Tea" tag swinging from its neck and the words "Tea Shock" and "Strong. Hot. Not Watered Down." on a banner below. Bold, steamy and built for anyone who knows that "Taoiseach" is pronounced just like it sounds. A fun pick for Irish heritage fans, tea lovers, St. Patrick's Day crowds and fans of clever Irish wordplay.
