Description: The wisdom of King Solomon has always inspired me, and I have wanted to use this scripture verse in a design. I chose the Blackadder ITC font, which manages to combine a sense of playfulness with old style writing. For the background I used a blue splatter brush texture. To the lettering, I added a slight gradient with warmish gold color. The warm/cool contrast adds visual excitement. This version of my design was intended to be printed on dark surfaces.
Description: Have you ever put your best effort into something and still failed? I have many times. In such times, I look to the book of Ecclesiastes to help me make sense of the world. For this design, I choose the Edwardian Script ITC font for its elegance and timelessness. This version of the design is painted with a gold color that looks great on dark colored shirts.
