Description: The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, better known as A&P, was an American chain of grocery stores that ceased supermarket operations in November 2015, after 156 years in business. From 1915 through 1975, A&P was the largest grocery retailer in the United States (and until 1965, the largest U.S. retailer of any kind). This design features A&P's 1976 rebrand logo which featured a new sunrise effect with a set of colored bands leading up to an offset A&P mark in a new, more modern typeface - the first major update since 1859.

Description: Founded in 1975, the first Peaches Records & Tapes store opened on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The concept was simple but revolutionary: create a record superstore with a vast selection of music in a space as large as a typical grocery store. Some locations reached over 15,000 square feet and carried as much as $500,000 worth of inventory.Although no longer in operation, Peaches Records remains a nostalgic icon among vinyl collectors and music historians. It’s often mentioned alongside other classic record retailers like Tower Records and Sam Goody when people talk about the golden era of vinyl.

Description: Step into Huntsville’s underground with this hand-drawn recreation of a vintage Sunburst Records t-shirt design. The original artwork—artist unknown—features a trippy, chaotic mashup of punk characters, jesters, clowns, and everything in between. From 1985 into the early 2000s, Sunburst Records was more than just a shop on Holmes Avenue—it was a hub for North Alabama’s punk and indie scenes, slinging records, zines, and DIY energy. The store famously distributed the 1997 N.O.K. punk compilation F— The East Bay, This Is N.O.K., flipping a big middle finger to coastal elitism and championing Huntsville’s raw, unfiltered sound. This design is a tribute to that gritty, glorious era.
