Description: Twitty City was an entertainment complex in Hendersonville, Tennessee that was the home of country singer Conway Twitty from its opening in 1982 until his death in 1993. He built the country music entertainment complex, at a cost of over $3.5 million, which also homes on the property for Twitty's mother and his children. The complex was famous for its lavish Christmas decorations, meticulous landscaping, and expansive gardens. Twitty City remained a popular tourist stop throughout the '80s and into the early '90s, and was shut down in 1994 following a year-long tribute show called 'Final Touches.' The complex was eventually auctioned off and converted into a Christian music venue, which still operates as such today.

Description: In 1968, Burt Reynolds bought a 153-acre ranch in Jupiter, Florida with the intention of it being his lifelong estate. He converted the overgrown farmland to his own private hideaway, complete with multiple houses, barns, landscaped lakes, film sets, and even a mausoleum where he intended to be interred. Being an animal lover, Reynolds also had show horses, herds of African antelope, fallow deer, a few waterbuck and even a couple of bison living on the grounds. The ranch even had a working feed and tack store up front, that not only helped keep Reynolds' animals fed, but also served other farms in the area. Eventually, much of the property was open to the public, where they could explore the ranch, and interact with the animals.

The operation would later be sold off, expanded, and renamed, remaining in operation to this very day.
