Twilight Socks
Description: This is one of those pieces in which the artwork itself is a spoiler. Sorry about that, but I had to make this creepy pig-faced nurse for the cool kids who already know. The symbolic color here is green for envy, also associated with greed. "Eye of the Beholder" is a classic example of how people (or even non-people, apparently) in communities always try to fit in, try to be like each other, and feel the need to fall in line mindlessly, sometimes going to extremes to do so. Rod Serling holds up a big mirror to our society to reveal our very own sheep-like nature in another brilliant Twilight Zone episode that is utterly timeless.
Description: This incredible 2-sided shirt design (with the HTH logo on front and building art on back) is the most detailed rendition of the beautiful Hollywood Tower Hotel - Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios that you will find anywhere on TeePublic!! This vector illustration was painstakingly drawn by hand and captures the wonderful details and complexities of the 1930s-era Art Deco "hotel" in all its grandeur. No matter what product you purchase with this design, the graphics will be perfectly crisp and look amazing! **Be sure to check out more Disney and pop culture related designs in my store!!**

Description: The Twilight Zone is my favorite show of all time, despite it having concluded long before I was born. Rod Serling is a hero of mine - a perfect wordsmith and creator of truly fascinating studies of the human psyche, tales that due to stellar writing, directing, and acting, feel almost more real than most TV today, despite the outlandish sci-fi scenarios. For this, I chose 4 of my favorite episodes that could be instantly recognizable with floating heads, and I used color symbolically. For the background color gradients, I created a subtle "Z" shape as a nod to the show. I also developed a new shape-drawing technique to create the faces piece by piece. It is a very tedious process, but rewarding, as it is an original look!
Description: Ah, poor Henry Bemis. The episode "Time Enough at Last" is a classic example of ironic tragedy, played perfectly by the great Burgess Meredith in a rare virtually solo performance. I used blue for Henry's color for fairly obvious reasons: he may just be the saddest character in Twilight Zone history.
