While larger municipalities had the big name video rental chain stores moving in during the '80s, if you wanted to rent the latest VHS release in a small town like Weber City, you had the local mom-and-pop video store down the street. Located at 227 Highway 23 South, UFO Video had an expansive, eclectic selection that was better than the chain stores, which is probably why they outlasted them. UFO Video continued to rent videos on multiple formats until 2017 when the owner passed away, leaving the building to stand empty as a landmark of a forgotten past.
