They wore wolf pelts which were believed to give them the strength, agility, and cunning of the wolf. Rune translation: "Úlfheðnaʀ" The runic text on this hoodie was translated using Younger Futhark Long-Branch Runes.

Description: Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life, is not only one of the most prominent Viking symbols/Norse symbols but an important element of the Norse faith itself. According to Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is the Great Tree that connects the nine worlds/nine realms of the universe, namely Asgard, Midgard, Muspelheim, Jotunheim, Vanaheim, Niflheim, Alfheim, Svartalfheim, Helheim. That is why Yggdrasil is considered the symbol of the interconnectedness of all things in the universe.
Description: This block print shirt design is based on a probable Viking raven flag. The raven is a symbol closely associated with Odin-- having two ravens named Huginn and Muninn-- and was further associated with war since Odin is the god of war. It's said that the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok in the Great Heathen Army flew a raven banner as well as other viking figures throughout history. I've recreated the image as a block print in my own style following some historical examples then printed and scanned it to make this shirt!
Description: Viking Berserkers were crazy brave, wild Norse warriors who were reported to have fought in a trance-like fury, which some thought were brought on by drugs taken before battle. This fighting characteristic later gave rise to the English word berserk. These warriors known to go into battle without mail-coats, but often instead wearing bear hides and fur.
