Cowboys Think 8 Seconds Is a Long Time 1992 Sticker

Bull riding rules are dead simple: The rider has to stay on the bull for 8 seconds once the chute opens, and only one hand may be placed on the rope or bull at any time. That’s it. Each rider is scored out of 100 points, 50 from the bull and the other 50 from the rider. Riders get points based on the control that they show throughout a ride, while the bull is scored on how disruptive they are to the rider throughout the ride. While it may just be eight seconds, that ride is one of the longest eight seconds you can experience in life and is not for the faint of heart.
