Ripples and Reflections at St Mary's Island Sticker

St Mary's Lighthouse and island lie north of the River Tyne and Whitley Bay on the North Sea coast of England. The lighthouse is no longer in operation and is now a museum and tourist attraction which is only accessible at low tide when the causeway is not under water. The image was taken on a warm October morning shortly after sunrise with with the light from the newly risen sun shining from the right emphasising the ripples in the wet sand left by the retreating tide and reflecting the light.
