Hanging on the Vine Sticker

This is an image, originally captured on slide film, of a bunch of grapes growing on the vine in our back yard. We had recently moved into the house and were eager to try our grape harvest. Knowing nothing about grapes, not even what kind of grapes these were, we decided to try our hand at wine making. Why not start with something ambitious? My brother-in-law had made wine before and had the equipment needed, so what could go wrong? We went through the process and waited for the wine to mature. It tasted, well, not quite what we expected. Anybody in the know would know that these are concord grapes, which are more suited to making grape jelly.
