Rotterdam - Delftshaven - 08-03-16 Sticker

Delftshaven After my drawing of Rotterdam - Coolhaven I wanted to do Delftshaven - another part of the old harbour area of Rotterdam but in a slight cubistic way. Delftshaven used to be the entrance port to Delft some 10 miles father north. Nowadays it is a strange kind of 17th century pittoresque looking enclave enclosed by modern buildings. There are many of such sites like Kethel near Schiedam. My aim is to seek them all out. Blurry vs Sharp The Coolhaven inspired to depict the scenery rather blurry because of having lost a contact lens. In this one the straight light beams in the background play an important role.
