Description: Andalsnes is a town in Rauma municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The town is situated where the spectacular Romsdalen valley meets the Romsdal fjord, and is surrounded by mountains of epic proportions. The unusual looking building in the foreground (lower left) is the Norsk Tindesenter (Norwegian Mountaineering Centre). 12th May 2026.
Description: The Golden Train claims to be one of Europe's most scenic railway lines. The journey starts at Åndalsnes Railway Station and follows the Rauma River, passing beneath the Troll Wall (Europe's largest vertical rock face). Other highlights along the route include Kors Church, Verma Waterfalls and Kylling Bridge, before the train reaches the winter resort of Bjorli.
