Description: Kattegat is the seat of Earl Haraldson, and the center of his powers. Events such as The Thing and other meetings among the Vikings are held in Kattegat. It's also the center of commerce for the area, especially considering its location in a fjord and its access to sea travel. Farmers, such as Ragnar, and producers of various goods, rely on Kattegat as the primary market where they can sell their goods. Later, after Haraldson is slain in single combat by Ragnar, the Lothbrok family abandons its farm, which had been put to the torch by the Earl's men, and relocates to Kattegat, where Ragnar rules as the new Earl.
Description: Ragnar Lothbrok is presented as a fragmentary historical record rather than legend or spectacle, framing him as a 9th-century Norse raider and chieftain operating across the North Sea world. The design treats Ragnar as a saga-era figure documented through role, geography, and time, using restrained typography and period-appropriate runic reference instead of mythic or pop-culture imagery. Minimal, archival, and deliberately unsentimental, it reads like a surviving entry from an early medieval oral tradition rather than a heroic narrative.
