This drawing was part of my series of 100 animal drawings, used for the Terra Oracle Deck. All 100 animals were drawing with a black felt pen on smooth finish white paper to keep perfect line quality. Using a variety of fine tipped pens, I was able to capture the essence of each animal using layers of tight mark making and expressive markmaking, while maintaining a certain essence of simplicity.
