Flamingos are beautiful birds, they are so flamboyant and maybe a little bit haughty in the way they strut about in their flocks. I always think of the old Manfred Mann classic, "Pretty Flamingo" when I see a picture of them. This is a Flamingle of Flamingos taken out of a muddy pond in a zoo and put into a more suitable background, edited in Photoshop and Topaz.

I saw this little flock of Caribbean flamingos in a local zoo on a cloudy overcast day and they looked so out of place in a cold muddy lake, so I decided to whisk them away to a sunnier climate, which I felt would suit them better. I believe the lighter coloured ones are this years grown chicks and they gradually take on the vibrant colours of their parents as they grow older. They are also known as American or greater flamingos I created the background with my own photos and textures using Photoshop CC , Flood and Topaz.

Milk was a bad choice.

The Allan Gardens Conservatory Palm House at 19 Horticultural Ave in Toronto Canada. The conservatory was built in 1879. In 1902, a fire destroyed the Horticultural Pavilion and parts of the conservatory. It's replacement, the cast iron and glass domed Palm House opened in 1910 and stands on the site today.
