This horrifying event marked the beginning of a 12-year endeavor to relocate bodies from various cemeteries in Paris to the city's former limestone quarries, eventually populating the underground tunnels with an astonishing 6 million remains. Today, approximately a mile of this subterranean labyrinth is open to visitors, who can embark on guided tours through the eerie passageways and encounter meticulously arranged displays.
Description: Caelid is a Location and Region in Elden Ring. The Caelid region is located east of Limgrave. It's mainly defined by its red, corrupt environment and a great amount of undead roaming the open fields. A wasteland on the south-eastern tip of the Lands Between, plagued by Scarlet Rot and inhabited by all manner of malformed creatures. Caelid was the site of the battle between General Radahn and Malenia, Blade of Miquella, during which the first flower of Aeonia bloomed and covered the region in Scarlet Rot. Radahn's army, the Redmanes, continue to combat the rot using fire to this day.
