Rarely do I work on the human socio environmental aspect of photography... but in working more local within my area of consideration and focussing more on matters pertaining to my local environment... I thought, I'd portray one of the nuisances which seems to be irritating quite a few of us within the community. Not wanting to point a finger but wanting to document the nuance of such a situation... I decided to work on the norm with a somewhat different approach... Most weekends due to the intense pressure of the local football field attracting many cars to the Caernarfon area, the surrounding area becomes unbearably congested with additional to the local area traffic and cars, not only that but people parking up in the local are...

M25 closure: Traffic misery expected as National Highways around London UK. The motorway will be closed in both directions between junctions 9 (A243 Leatherhead) and 10 (A3 Wisley), to allow concrete beams for a gyratory bridge and a gantry to be lifted into place.

I took this photograph of a traffic jam taken near Silom street in Bangkok, Thailand. This is pretty typical traffic for this time. Everyone leaving the city and going home or perhaps going out after a long day of work.

Urban planners, economists, and density advocates know that the one thing we can do to reduce deaths and make our cities vibrant and sustainable is give automobile use an incremental cost, and the easiest way to do this is to make drivers sit in traffic.

How much is too much? Certainly, when there isn't room for roads or cars, thoughts of living on a quiet countryside parcel has tremendous appeal. Time to move?

This mid last century vintage advertising travel poster has been lovingly restored to its original glory for you to now own yourself. Written at the top of the image is avoid street congestion and at the bottom is rapid transit lines, fast ...... reliable. The image in the centre is of a street somewhere with the streets congested with foot traffic as well as cars and trucks. Above them in front of the city buildings is a train line running past. The train is having none of the troubles of the street.
