Description: Conoco Inc. is a defunct American oil company founded by Isaac Elder Blake in 1875 as the Continental Oil and Transportation Company. It is now a brand of gasoline and service station in the United States which belongs to Phillips 66 following the spin-off of ConocoPhillips' downstream assets in May 2012.
Description: White Rose Gasoline was a product of the National Refining Company, which was founded by J.I. Lamprecht in 1882. He ran the company until he died in 1920. Afterward, his son W.H Lamprecht took over. The company produced a range of products. Its brands included National, ENARCO and Royal motor oil, White Rose and Royal gasoline and motor oil, and White Rose, Royal and National light oil.
Description: John and Luke Hancock started the Pure Oil of Minneapolis in the early 1900's. They sold out to The Pure Oil Company of Ohio in 1920. Luke Hancock continued to work for Pure Oil, and John Hancock started the Hancock Oil Company in Minneapolis. John Hancock died in 1929, at which time the Minneapolis Hancock Oil stations were sold to Phillips.
