Disability Advocate Stickers
Much of the abled community views stories of disabled folk as inspirational, and that we deserve sympathy and pity for our disabilities. And I, as well as many other disabled people, are sick of it. This t-shirt is for all the disabled folk who believe that they are not the abled community's mascot for making themselves feel better/giving themselves a pat on the back. We are disabled. But we are not inspiration. We are humans, not objects to marvel at. (If you're interested, you can find out more at the twitter hashtag #notyourinspiration.)
