Description: Celebrate classic IHL hockey with this Toledo Goaldiggers tee! The Toledo Goaldiggers played in the International Hockey League from 1974 to 1986, replacing the city's previous team, the Blades (later Hornets). After 10 years in Toledo, that club moved to Lansing, Michigan at the end of the 1973/74 season. The Goaldiggers suspended operations in 1986 and were eventually sold to a group from Kansas City who renamed them the Blades and revived the franchise for the 1990/91 IHL season. Description: The Toledo Goaldiggers were a minor professional ice hockey club based in Toledo, Ohio from 1974–1986. They played in the International Hockey League and held their home games at the Toledo Sports Arena on the east side of Toledo. The franchise was eventually sold to Russ and Diane Parker and moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where they became the Kansas City Blades in 1990.
