I Am Complicated Stickers
Description: Courtesy becomes an excuse in this one, wrapping simple avoidance in exaggerated politeness, as though declining effort required careful diplomacy rather than quietly ignoring something difficult. Framing it as polite implies consideration for everyone involved, even though the outcome is identical to plain avoidance either way. It plays on how formal, careful language can make an ordinary decision sound thoughtful and considerate rather than simply convenient. The comedy lives in that contrast between graceful phrasing and the unremarkable, self-serving reality underneath, dressed up just enough to sound reasonable. It also works because avoidance gets dressed in careful language, masking a decision that serves nobody but the one involved.
