Jane Eyre Stickers
Description: Jane Eyre belongs to no one but herself. The problem was, I don't think she believed it for a very long time. I have obsessively read and re-read this story and I couldn't exactly figure out why. After all, it's not really a love story. It's the story (with deeply problematic elements) of a woman who is struggling with her self worth in the world, yet knows deep down inside herself that she is valuable, that she is important and she is strong. We don't always see the lying Mr Rochesters in our lives, nor the people they keep locked in the attics. I do hope we can all find ways to confront them though, and find our own agency in the light of day.

Description: Jane Eyre claims her independence from Rochester when she states, "I am no bird and no net ensnares me. I am a human being with an independent will which I will now exert to leave you." She is a remarkably independent and strong willed woman, especially when it was published in 1847. Charlotte Bronte even used a pseudonym to publish it. See my other feminist and bookish designs.
Description: Wander the sweeping English moors with this beautiful watercolor diamond frame illustration inspired by Jane Eyre. A lone figure walks a dirt path through blooming heather under a dramatic, cloudy sky. This aesthetic landscape design is perfect for fans of Charlotte Bronte and classic Victorian literature.
