Description: He is known as Kala Rahu. According to Hindu mythology, Rahu is one of the asuras that tries to get eternity water or tirta amerta. His cunning makes him beheaded by Vishnu. His head wanders in the sky, while chasing Surya and Candra, in retaliation for his complaint to Vishnu, thus creating an eclipse. He is believed to be the cause of the eclipse.
