The colour of the painted walls just made this a place to remember for all the right reasons. Fiscardo is the picturesque and beautiful Greek harbour village on the Northern tip of Kefalonia, largest of the seven Ionian islands. Of the approximate 365 villages on this large and diverse island, Fiscardo is unique in that it is the only village on Kefalonia that has so many of the original Venetian buildings intact and still in use. I then drove round town using a long exposure to capture the movement in the lights from cars, other vehicles and street lights. Description: Cuban Cars in Havana I stood with my camera just waiting for a line of old Cuban cars on the corner of hotel Parque Central, Havana. This was harder than you may think as there are quite a few more modern cars and of course tourist buses that seemed to be always in the way of my shot. These cars were lined up at the traffic lights waiting for a green light and I took my shot before they moved. Just behind them is Hotel Inglaterra and the Capitol building which helps to give you a sense of place and makes for the perfect black and white image to frame and place on a prominent place in your house or home. Description: Beach Volleyball Net At Sunset I present you with a bit of colour with this stunning sunset on a beach on the Caribbean resort of Varadero in Cuba. As the sun was setting I used the post of this volleyball net to hide the sun as it was so powerful that it would have blown all the highlights and probably the sensor on my camera.
