Description: In the early days of skateboarding, flexible skateboard decks were highly desirable, and in 1975, Powerflex came up with one of the most flexible decks yet. Made with what they described as pull-truded, high-mat, roving-content fiberglass, these decks were not only flexible, but could withstand over 2 tons of weight without breakage. Powerflex proved this in several ways, but the most memorable was having an elephant plant a foot on a complete skateboard. In addition to making decks, they also made some pretty innovative wheels using their own unique compounds and offered them in more colors and sizes than other manufacturers at the time.
