Revolution Will Be Streaming Stickers
Description: After a series of political images done for concern toward the crisis in Greece, it was formed that I should possibly do images for sale in collage form. This is my first attempt, and is a respectful homage to Gil Scott-Heron’s song. Watch that here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS3QOtbW4m0 “The revolution will not go better with Coke. The revolution will not fight the germs that may cause bad breath. The revolution will put you in the driver’s seat. The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised, will not be televised, will not be televised. The revolution will be no re-run brothers; The revolution will be live."
Description: With the rise of social media, smartphones, and independent journalism, people can document and share revolutionary moments in real time. Many social movements have been propelled by viral videos, live streams, and citizens journalism. Rather than being filtered through traditional media, these events are broadcast directly to the world by participants themselves. In this sense, the revolution is now televised—but through decentralized, grassroots channels rather than corporate networks.
