The neighborhood is covered under a deep blanket of snow making everything beautiful. While I was walking around my block, I saw this picket fence receding into the distance with every individual picket with a hat of snow.

Streets fairs are fun because they have many booths selling a large variety of items. This booth selling colorful hats and purses would attract anyone's attention.

I always look forward to the beginning of spring when the magnolias are in bloom. This magnificent pink magnolia blossoms are set off by the red door of this suburban home.

I was taking a walk when I heard a rumble behind me. I jumped aside and the high school track team came running by. One of the signs of autumn.

Even though it is autumn, hardy chrysanthemums and geraniums add a lovely touch of color to this suburban home.

Although they don't last very long, azaleas, with their variety of colors, are a welcome addition to the spring garden. These vivid magenta azaleas add a beautiful touch to this suburban home.

Guardian of the Court is a local Australian street scene in my area. Australian homes from the 50s and 60s are being replaced by modern square mansions. The backyard and front yard are being eliminated and so with it the Australian way of living, as more and more people stay inside. I like to walk around with my camera and capture what is left of these nostalgic houses. The Australian cattle dog also epitomizes the Australian dream. Owning your own home with your dog and a driveway to park your car in. What more do you need, what more do you want. The great Australian dream. When I woke up, a deep snow covered the ground and every twig of the trees making everything beautiful.

Our first snow was so early this year, that the leaves hadn't even fallen from the trees yet. It still looked beautiful, but melted very quickly. I was out at 8 o'clock in the morning taking pictures.
