Description: A sunfish (Mola mola) is the world's heaviest bony fish, known for its giant, flat, circular body resembling a swimming head with fins, living in warm oceans and feeding mainly on jellyfish, though it's vulnerable to fishing gear and plastic pollution. These distinctive creatures are found globally in tropical and temperate waters, can grow huge (over 3 meters/10 ft), and are often spotted near the surface "basking" in the sun, which gives them their name.
