Description: This was my first design I created for the Little Earthquakes era on TAD, but ultimately I went in favor of something more recognizably tied to the album. However, there is a lyric inspiration from a beautiful Little Earthquakes B-side called "Thoughts". Here's an excerpt: "Thoughts right now/I'm never here./I am never, never a bird/In the flower/in the tree" This design will always have a special place in my heart and I wanted to make it available to you all here. ***** All proceeds from the sales made go to RAINN (Rape Abuse Incest National Network), and rape crisis center that was founded in part by Tori. Description: The imagery on this album was the best of any since Scarlet in my opinion, and this photo of her standing captured such strength, poise, and a sense of being unapologetic. Description: Citizen Dick is a fictional grunge band featured in Singles, a ’92 romantic comedy set amidst Seattle’s explosive grunge music scene. The movie focused on six young people, most of whom lived in the same apartment building, and whose lives revolve around the city’s ever-expanding music scene. The inter-related stories about each character’s progress through the singles scene are intriguing and often funny, and the soundtrack is a grunge fan’s dream.
Description: If any of my designs were guilty pleasures, this one would be it. I indulged in the idea of her being represented as the Snow Queen or a similar magical winter creature. I approach altering Tori's likeness so drastically very cautiously, since it isn't hard to find examples of less-than-stellar manipulations of her images.
