“Marble in reverse” – A color-inverted close-up photograph of a slab of marble. This way it looks rather aquatic, like water in a rocky stream bed or waves on a rocky shore.

The following series of images are about various buildings I encountered while walking the streets of Lisbon. On this one, the main (and only) door to the apartment building facing the street front is quite elevated from street level (at least about 12-14 ft) and you can't quite tell why!!! Hummmm......
