Ray’s Rails 1965 T-Shirt

Sand Dunes T-Shirt

designed and sold by  JCD666

The earliest sandrails started out as pan or tunnel buggies and were named as such depending on what factory vehicle was stripped down and used as the basis of the sand car. By the mid-sixties, professionally fabricated, purpose built full tube chassis sandrails were quickly becoming the hot setup and from their shop in Imperial, California, Ray’s Rails was one of the originators. From more traditional import rear engine setups, to all out mid-engine, V8 powered dune rockets, Ray and company rocked the scene and could routinely be found testing and tuning their latest designs and customer rides at the local dunes for over three decades.
