Staithes Fishing Village, Yorkshire, UK The quaint fishing village of Staithes on the Yorkshire coast is one of our latest finds and well worth a visit if you like coastal resorts. Which ever way you decide to go into Staithes, there is a steep walk down a big hill, whether you go on a cliff walk along the Cleveland Way, or you park in the car park and walk down the main road to the town. We ventured to the opposite side of the harbour to get this view of the town and included the fishermen's lobster pots for foreground interest.
