My own take on the ancient Solar Cross symbol, also known as the Sunwheel, Sun Cross or Celtic Cross. This symbol may be the most oldest cosmological symbol of them all. The earliest examples of the Solar Cross date back 11 thousand years, well into neolithic times. It is a symbol of the cyclical nature of time and can represent the day/night cycle, the orbit of the earth around the sun to create the year with its cycle of four seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn (Fall) and Winter.
