Isle of Mann Flag - Manx Triskelion T-Shirt

Any manxman should boast his or her origins with this ancient and noble symbol. The flag of the Isle of Mann or Man (Manx: brattagh Vannin) is a triskelion, composed of three plate armoured legs with golden spurs, upon a red background. It has been the official flag of Mann since 1 December 1932 and is based on the Manx coat of arms, which dates back at least to the 13th century. The three legs are known in Manx as ny tree cassyn ("the three legs"). The triskelion is an ancient symbol, used by many Indo-European Peoples including the norse vikings who may have introduced it to the Isle of Mann during their great migrations during the viking age.
