Eros, in Greek mythology, is the god of love, desire, and attraction. He is often depicted as a young, handsome winged god armed with a bow and arrows. Eros plays a significant role in various mythological tales, particularly in relation to love and romance. According to the myths, Eros is the son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and either Ares, the god of war, or Zeus, the king of the gods. Eros is associated with both passionate, romantic love (known as Eros) and the more primal, instinctive desire (known as Cupid). In many stories, Eros uses his arrows to strike the hearts of gods and mortals, causing them to fall in love with whomever he chooses.
