An Exotic Heliconia T-Shirt

Most of the 194 known species of heliconias are native to the tropical Americas, but a few are indigenous to certain islands of the western Pacific and Maluku. Photographed growing at Casa Orquideas which is one of the oldest and most interesting botanical gardens in the Golfo Dulce region of Costa Rica. The gardens include hundreds of different species of tropical plants such as palms, heliconias, orchids, exotic fruit trees, and much more. Canon 6D, zoom lens.
