Green Easter Egg with Flowers T-Shirt

A long standing tradition in Austria is to bless food the day before Easter Sunday. People gather either in church or in front of a small chapel and place wicker baskets, filled with smoked ham, sausages, horseradish, colored eggs and whatever else they consider necessary for a hearty meal after lent, in front of the altar. Baskets are covered by with a linen blanket that has been hand stitched, mostly with red cross stitching, and are decorated with flowers from the garden and an egg.
